Product Analyst (Insurance Team)

As a Product Analyst on the Insurance Team, you will assist in delivering accurate and comprehensive pet insurance products with the ultimate goal of helping pets live their best lives. You will assist in researching, conceptualizing, planning, and execution of implementing policy forms, notices and documents necessary for the product. You will be instrumental in the testing and reporting of policy document implementation. One of the primary objectives on a daily basis is to enhance the insurance products that we offer to our pet parents, to improve customer satisfaction and retention. You are a highly analytical self-starter who thrives in a fun, fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with and support the Sr. Director of Insurance Product in the drafting, development and building of forms and product documents for various mediums, including marketing, sales, and technology.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating product documents and repositories as needed. 
  • Complete reviews of policy differences on a state-by-state basis as needed. 
  • Collaborate to improve processes and provide the best customer experience for our pet parents.
  • Find and problem-solve gaps in systems during and after systems changes, process or controls, especially those that impact product implementation or regulatory reporting.
  • Work with the QA team to develop, execute, and report on a comprehensive set of Test/Use Cases for upcoming form changes.
  • Report as needed on actual vs expected results found in implementation and testing.
  • Creating ad hoc reports to highlight UAT cycles and implementation schedules. 
  • Research Pet Industry competitive positioning, and additional research projects as needed.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders using clear and concise verbal and written communication both remotely and face-to-face.

 Required Skills

  • 3+ years insurance industry experience. Personal, or P&C insurance, forms, product development, state filings, or UAT/testing experience a plus. Pet insurance experience is not required.
